Games Workshop extends LotR licensing agreement
Games Workshop, a leading “designer, manufacturer, distributor and seller of fantasy miniatures and tabletop hobby wargames” has announced on February 9th, 2011, that its licence agreement on its range of Lord of the Rings products has been extended by Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP). Games Workshop has added the Middle-earth figurines and game many years ago as a third pillar in its portfolio beside its own brands of Warhammer and Warhammer 40.000. As the Lord of the Rings has been selling decently and continuously this comes as no surprise – and shortly after WBCP announced another gaming agreement with HeroClix.
