HeroClix: The Lord of the Rings. Sammelbare Miniaturen angekündigt
Gaming company WizKids announced on January 18th, 2011 the release of a collectible miniature game based on The Lord of the Rings in cooperation with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. That comes as no surprise as marketing for the Hobbit films is revving up and after good experiences with the Games Workshop brand of tabletop products this is just the next step in the boardgaming market. Whether HeroClix will be available in Germany is not quite clear yet, though.
Wizkids announced today the addition of “The Lord of the Rings” property to their 2011 HeroClix release schedule through a licensing agreement logowith Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The first products of the new “The Lord of the Rings” line will be a HeroClix miniatures game followed by a HeroClix strategic board game, both of which will release in the back half of 2011.
